| The duckie turned his head and lowered
his eyes shyly. The monkey thought he was so cute that she
wanted to pick him up and hug him to pieces. She had never seen
anything so cute before. “Here, let me help you . . . I won’t hurt you . . . give me your hand…ohhhh, sorry, you don’t have any hands,” she apologized as she bent over and gently loosened the reeds, and scooped the duckie up and out of the pond. |

The Cutest Little Duckie was inspired by memories of the classic
stories the author invented and told to her own children years
ago. Victoria now recaptures these adorable characters and
their adventures, in colorful books to charm and entertain other
children and their parents. Victoria writes for all age groups
but her current focus is upon pre - K thru junior readers. She
hopes her children's books will bring the family together
for reading enjoyment and traditional bedtime and just for fun
storytime.
Victoria has another children's book in the works: Walking In A
Giant's Footsteps, an invigorating
and emotionally uplifting junior novella for ages 5 - 12. All
of her stories teach valuable lessons, reinforcing positive
interaction and strength of character.
Victoria is also completing a novella for ages 10 thru 17; The
Night Of The Real Werewolf, a fact based story about a Halloween
party and the unexpected events and horrifying "invasion" that
occur during the course of the dark and stormy night.
All of her books are beautifully illustrated by professional
artists.
While she creates, Victoria continues to work a full time job,
publishes other authors books as a passion, and continues to
write her own stories, as writing has always been her first
love.

| “Before the snow comes,” the monkey
hesitated, suddenly feeling shy. “Before the snow comes,” she
repeated quietly, “let’s go to my tree house—we can stay there
for the Winter OK? You would LOVE it! It’s beautiful, and safe
and cozy and oh so very warm—and we can talk and play and have
dinners together and watch the stars twinkle. We can explore all
kinds of wonderful adventures together . . .” The monkey was so
excited at the thought. “You will soon be all grown up,” she
continued to babble. It would be perfect—she just knew it. The duck wanted to say yes—and he almost started to, but instead said solemnly, “I can’t come with you Monkey . . .” he felt very sad as he spoke the words, but he knew they could never share the same life. And now it was Duckie who had to teach Monkey.
